SOPHIA & EL KRONOX

Sophia & El Kronox are Tango dancers who are passionate about sharing their art through teaching and performing. They teach Argentine Tango in Ann Arbor on Tuesday nights as well as perform at events throughout Michigan.

 

Sophia is from Plymouth, MI and has studied multiple dance styles since she was 3 years old. After graduating with a BA in Theatre from Hope College, Sophia discovered and fell in love with Argentine Tango. She also performed with Ballet Edge Detroit dance company.

 

José was born and raised in Málaga, Spain. He came to the United States in 1998 and started teaching Spanish at the University of Michigan. José has been dancing Argentine Tango for over a decade.
