KRISTEN HUDECZ

Kristen “Kris” Hudecz is a passionate Southeast Michigan dance artist and educator. Hudecz first trained at Gail Wildfong School of Dance in her hometown of Gladwin, Michigan before achieving her Bachelor’s in Social Work and Dance Performance from Eastern Michigan University in April 2020. Hudecz has studied and worked under artists such as Levi Marsman, William Crowley, Tracy Halloran, Jillian Hopper, Barbara Sellinger, and Sylvia Suttle. Kris’ choreography and performance has been honored to perform at the American College Dance Association East-Central Conference and at several local and international dance festivals, as well as commissioned as guest art at her alma mater, EMU. Hudecz is a two-year company member with ConteXture Dance Detroit, and a full-time choreographer training pre-professional youth in Southeast Michigan. Hudecz is deeply engaged in studio work, project-based, company, and freelance work.
